These were so fun to make!!! I love small projects like this so much. Have you tried out the Snappy Manicure Wallet pattern yet? It’s fun and free!
These were made for our seriously awesome teachers that we had this year. We were so lucky! Of course I tried to do some top secret reconnaissance work to figure out their favorite colors, but in the end I grabbed some cute fabrics and sewed! I really like how I managed to somewhat coordinate the two wallets.
Eventually I plan to make an alternate type pocket tutorial for ya in case you don’t need a special wallet just for your nail polish. Although I’m sure you could get creative and find all other kinds of things to put in those cute nail polish slots! Chocolate?!
Pattern: Snappy Manicure Wallet (designed by me for Robert Kaufman Fabrics)
Fabrics: Heather Ross Far Far Away 3 and Cosmo Cricket (Eric & Julie Comstock) for Moda and of course some lovely random bits from my scrap pile
Snaps: Snapsource
I’d love it if you would add any photos to the noodlehead flickr group or the Robert Kaufman Fanatics flickr group. It’s so fun to see what you make! Or you can tag your pics with #snappymanicurewallet.
i so like them! guess, i h a v e t o sew one, too! 🙂
Oh yeah, a chocolate wallet would get a LOT of use around here! These are so crazy cute!
I also thought these would be handy if someone was into essential oils and carried them around with them. All those dividers seem like they would be perfect!
what a great idea! those are as beautiful as ever…i seriously want to take fabric selection class from you!
Gail, I am with you. I do not have the knack of putting fabrics together. It is amazing how talented people are. I am not.
So, so very beautiful! I love the camera fabric!

Lucky teachers! Those mani wallets are excellent!
Cute idea :o)
What a great pattern and I love your fabric choices! Those snaps are the perfect touch. I’ll keep my eye out for the other pocket tutorial as I’d love to give this as a gift to some non-polish wearing folks!
What a lovely gift. I particularly like the lightblue fabric with the little flowers – very cute.
Really beautiful!
I’d love to see the alternate pocket version although I can imagine cars or little girls’ stuff. Hope to find some space to sew one up soon.
Anna, thanks so much for this cute little nail polish holder ~ I know someone who’d really like it and I’m going to make it for her!
So adorable!! Those are some lucky teachers!!
I love this pattern! I sewed up three at once – one for a bday gift, one for a teacher gift, and one for me! 🙂
Awesome, Anna. You are a genius.
These are adorable – you are so good. I don’t think Em’s teacher’s are getting handmades this year… :/
Anna,
Are the snaps hard? I haven’t used anything like that since I am a quilter but would love to make one (or 3 to be honest 🙂
Patti
oh i love this! perfection Anna.
Love all your patterns bought some already, just a question though such finish product is ok to sell? Thanks.
I have a question regarding step #3. Is the zipper pull to be from the right as stated in the directions or from the left as in the photo?
Thanks.
I have sewn two of them for my nieces. I loved this wallet, and is super easy to sew!! Thank you
