Okay, I couldn’t leave well enough alone and made some more Cargo Duffles. I think they’re not only a good overnight size duffle for an adult, but a great one for kids! More specifically – mine. I pulled out fabrics and let her choose the main print for her duffle. It was fun seeing what ones they really liked and may have swayed Natalie into the Lizzy House hedgehogs over something else, I just couldn’t help it.
So now she’s all set for going to Grammy and Grampy’s house. And I just love seeing her excited to fill it up!
This time I used some leather scraps for the zipper pulls to make them a little easier to open and close. My cousin (hi Jennifer!!!) had generously gifted me some leather scraps she had gotten at a local moccasin making company. I finally felt like I could cut into those precious pieces. So I might have a few more leathery things to share soon.
The snaps are from Snap Source. I had smaller size snaps for my zippy wallets, but had to ask my friend Vanessa where she had gotten hers, and guess what, same place! Just the nice jumbo size. Love them! But I actually used the Dritz snap setting tool instead with these. Somehow the plastic snap setter and I aren’t the best of friends, guess I can get a little cray cray with the hammer!
I’ll announce the Journey e-book winner in my next post! Time is flying by!
