Hello hello! I hope your December is off to a great start! It seems like the rest of the year is going to fly by. I can’t believe how much I still have to share about here. But we’ll take it one day at a time and today I’m super excited to introduce a fun collaboration I did with Krista of Print Shop Textiles. Hopefully you’ve seen Krista’s work before, but if not let me do a little intro for you. She’s a fellow Lucky SpoolΒ author and wrote the book Beyond Cotton which I just adore. She’s also a blogger and authors the blog Spotted Stones, and recently has rebranded her work under the name Print Shop Textiles. If you stop by her shop you’ll find all sorts of gorgeous handmade items featuring her own fabric designs. She also teaches at events like QuiltCon! She’s pretty amazing if you ask me.
Quite a few months ago I asked her to join me in a little collaboration with her fabric designs and my new pattern, the Minimalist Wallet. Lucky for me she thought it would be fun and today I’ve got the limited edition prints in my shop for the Minimalist Wallet. There’s a small number available of each design, so pick your favorite! The mini size features Krista’s Tumbled fabric design in white ink or midnight. And the regular size features Krista’s son’s Grid design in black or midnight.

I absolutely loved sewing up the samples of these gorgeous designs. I think the extra fun part is that this fabric kit is for the Exterior fabric requirement only, so you’ll still need a second ‘Accent’ fabric (be sure to stop by the Minimalist Wallet pattern listing for the complete material requirements list). I think it’s so fun that you can add your own twist with the Accent fabric. It makes each wallet so unique. I had a blast picking through my stash to find different combinations, it was hard to stop at just the ones I made.
Lastly, I added the leather piece for the Snap Tab part of the wallet to my shop. I want to stress that the leather Snap Tab is optional only, instructions include making it from fabric, so don’t stress if you don’t want to use leather. I wanted to give those who wanted to try leather an option without having to scour the planet to find a leather that works.
Hope you have a great Wednesday!
OH my gosh itβs all so pretty. I especially love the subtle scoop/curve of the inner pocket. Brilliant touch. Love the fabrics too! Bravo Anna + Krista ??
Thanks so much Dana! Can you believe how much has changed and happened since we’ve met? π
Beautiful! You do such a great job!
Thanks so much Linda! π
I just finished the large version and just love it. The leather was so easy to stitch thru and the pattern was surprisingly simple. I also am pleased with the weight/feel of it – interfacings are just perfect. Now to wrap it up and put it under the tree …
