I couldn’t make one without making another, right? Seems only fair. Emily is quite pleased with her very own Cargo Duffle (free pattern designed by me for Robert Kaufman). I just loved seeing her reaction to this bag. She was so excited to put her things in it right away.
If you can’t tell I love this project and using different combinations! Next month I’m going to be teaching a class locally for the Cargo Duffle, so stay tuned for updates and information on that. I’m very excited to be able to teach it!
I’m slowly running out of batting scraps to make more duffles, so I guess that means I need to be making some more quilts. Love that.
Fabrics: Suzy Ultman (Handle with Care) for Robert Kaufman – Kite Chase , Comma (Brigitte Heitland) for Moda, Kaufman Interweave Chambray in Sorbet
Stay warm everyone!
LOVE the fabrics you used! The kite print is too cute. Wish I could come to your class! Kind of a long drive though 😉
I love it! Looking forward to making it myself but with boy fabrics 🙂 Smiles
That is adorable! 🙂
You really do have the best stash. I need to learn to be more thoughtful and selective with my purchases

Such a great bag and Emily is just so dang cute! How fun that she loves it. I bought a giant zipper and metal snaps for mine, yay! 😀
You are a bag making machine! And I love all of them!
I love this duffel and can’t wait to make one. Would it work with all quilters cotton or is the canvas a necessity for stability?
Aww, love it, and I get the feeling she could fit herself in it if she tried lol
This is the prettiest duffle ever! I love it, Anna!
This is such an amazing tote!! I will put that on my list for this year!! It is my favorite. I just wish we lived closer together so I could take your classes. Precious kiddos too!! Susan
