Made a new everyday bag for myself using my own Go Anywhere Bag pattern. I’m really excited about finally using this hoarded print by Nani Iro that I ordered from Miss Matatabi a while back. I love the simplicity of the colors in this combo.
The lining fabric is just the perfect compliment to the exterior linen and Nani Iro fabrics. It’s from Moda‘s line PB & J by Basic Grey. (here’s some left at Fat Quarter Shop) Love it and all it’s geometric goodness. Add a little slip pocket using some shot cotton and I’m good to go.
I think I’ve said this before, but I can’t hardly bring myself to use a bag that doesn’t have exterior pockets anymore. With this pattern especially, it’s easy to keep things organized in the divided front pocket. A spot for my phone, one for sunglasses, and the last for keys. Even the back pocket gets a good workout when traveling, it’s perfect to stash a magazine or book.
And that’s just what it’ll be doing this week, traveling to Camp Stitchalot! YAY!!!
p.s. Thank you for purchasing my patterns in my little sale. I appreciate it so much and hope you enjoy them!
