A little Fanfare fox action for my little fox. I’m happy to be joining the fun today with Rae and her ultra cute first fabric collection: Fanfare for Cloud 9 Fabrics. You could say I’m a fan of Cloud 9 in general, I always love the designers they have and it seems different from a lot of what’s out there.
Cozy flannel, cute colors, foxes + elephants? What’s not to like?! Seriously so cute. I couldn’t help myself and like everyone else, seemed like some lounge pants were in order. I started out with MADE’s shorts pattern with the flat front shorts option and used my Shirred Pajama Pants tutorial for the waist. I love being able to splash in a couple extra fabrics, so these little pants did the trick. I made her a size 8 (normally she’s a size 7 in girls) which I thought might be a little roomy, but turns out it’s pretty snug, next time I’ll size up for a pair of jammies.
Lastly, I couldn’t leave Emily out of the fun. She steals Grandma’s heated rice bag every time she visits, so I made her one for our house! Just a few scraps is all you need, and some rice. I’ll be making one for myself – I might have borrowed it the other night. Perfect for warming up toes or a sore neck. I made it up quickly with what I had. But if you’re interested in making one like it, I’ve made a similar one using a tutorial from V & Co. here in the past.
I hope you guys are enjoying fall! We’ve been having such nice weather here I just love soaking up the sunshine when I can.
And thank you to everyone who stopped by for Project Sewn and my Fall Mod dress. It’s really been such a fun way to stretch my sewing, always fun to learn something new (or realize when something just doesn’t work). The other ladies just totally outdid themselves! Voting is open until Thursday night if you haven’t voted yet.
You can find a list of retailers that will be carrying Fanfare here. Also, be sure to check out the other stops on the little Fanfare tour, today I’m paired with Jess of Craftiness is Not Optional! Thanks Rae!!
So wonderful, I would like you to sew me the same ;-).
Have a nice fall

Mmmmm so cute and cozy – I wish all our little Fanfare-clad kids could have a pajama party together (LOUNGE PARTY I MEAN LOUNGE PARTY!).

How cute are those cozy jammy bottoms AND your little model! Cute pics!!:)
those are the cutest!! such a clever waistband. and the yellow foxes are my fave, too 🙂
You dress her adorably – perfect because she is!
Darling!
the fabrics are totally my taste. The pants look wonderful. Too bad I just ordered fabric. It always takes a while to Germany and the shipping rates aren’t cheap. But that would be something for my little ones, too.
